I chose to make a colour palette because it reflects my genre and appeals to the target audience. Darker reds, browns and greys are used mainly in horror/thriller trailers which is why I have started with a block black. You will mainly find the block black as the background or as dark lighting within a trailer. Reds are closely related to blood and danger fitting in well with the theme. I also chose browny/grey colours to go in my palette because they link with the wooded setting throughout the trailer.
